One maintenance practice that has been abandoned over the last few years here at Wahconah has been deep tine aerification. We used to do this practice at least once every season for a period of close to 10 years straight. This is typically a contracted service for us that costs anywhere from about 3 to 4 thousand dollars. With massive budget cuts over the years this practice was one that fell victim. The following video illustrates what we are missing out on and the benefits.
