Here is a picture looking back on the 11th hole from the 11th green. As you can see we have been losing our ice layer slowly over the last few weeks. The ice was in place for about 35 days so I wasn't concerned with any buildup of gasses. What I am concerned with is the turf being exposed this late in the year. Its winter hardiness compromised and the potential for a real sharp cold snap. With the ever unpredictable month of March ahead I remain cautious yet optimistic about our turf heading into spring.
